WHEN YOU STOP BUYING PAPER TOWELS AND PAPER NAPKINS, YOU WILL NEVER WANT TO THROW YOUR MONEY AWAY AGAIN. LITERALLY!
I don't know about you guys, but I grab a paper towel every time I wet my fingertips! Not to mention all the spills and clean ups. So I decide that it's time to go paperless!
…AND WHAT ABOUT KILLING THE TREES TO MAKE THIS LUXURY ITEM!?!
It will take a little preparing to go paperless, and a little time to train your brain to go for the containers of cloths sitting around. But you can do this! Your family can too!
Yes, in the beginning my daughters would come over and complain that I didn't have paper towels. But they got use to it! They know it is worth it to me for the environment, the cost, and the trees!
SO HOW DO YOU TRANSITION TO PAPERLESS?
You will need to have plenty of cloths available near the sink, the coffee station, the table, etc. Check out some of these cute containers! Be creative!
No need to be concerned about the extra laundry piling up. You will have bought enough cloths to throw them in the wash once a week, or whenever you can add them to a midweek washing.
Below I have provided the cotton flour sacks I use for towels, and the wash cloths. As for the containers, check out TJ Max, Target, thrift stores, or I have added links to a few really cute containers from Amazon.
Another part of this adventure is where to put the dirty cloths! If your laundry is nearby then no problem. Mine isn't so I like to keep a basket centralized in the kitchen or dining area…or both! Check out the baskets I use. I have provided links for these as well. But you can certainly search for what works best for you!

A word of confession….
I know there will be clean-ups that you reeeeally don't want to use a cloth, much less put it in the washer with other things! For that I have a stash of rags that I don't mind throwing away. Ok, YES and I do have 1 roll of paper towels for those type of clean-ups! However, I have had the same roll for over a year. There, I confessed…one roll!
I hope you've been inspired to go paperless! Less trash, less trees to kill, and more money in your pocket!
Enjoy the clean-up! I appreciate you being here!
